They have SSD options available in the BTO version. Of course they are charging far more than any third party drives cost but it is an option.

well, the server version of the 2011 mini has 7200rpm HDDs.
the thing is i think apple stayed away from them in the standard minis so far is noise. the 7200rpm HDDs are just not quiet enough for the non-server models.
