I use my iPad Pro 12.9” mainly for note taking apps (Notability). Would mini led screen from the latest iPad Pro make noticeable difference compared to retina screen from a generation prior?

Not in my opinion. I don’t need the greatest possible screen for writing some notes.

I think for a better note taking experience the promotion 120hz and lamination are the most important factors along with the Apple Pencil generation
