I'm looking for speakers for my mac mini late 2009 to watch youtube videos and movies. This will go in the bedroom. It's not bluetooth and not wireless, but it does have a line in port and seems easy enough to move to another room when i play podcasts while cooking/working.

Do you think it's a good deal at $30, or should I look elsewhere? Note that I don't care for it having ipod docks since I'm going to not use an iphone anymore.

Guess you're better off with a logitech pc speaker set or so.
Personally I would spend a few bucks more, get a Dayton Audio DTA-1 amp for roughly the same money, and get 2 normal bookshelf speakers with that.

I ended up getting this one for $40. It has an aux input and seems like I can pair as many bluetooth devices as I want (i tried 3 already). It's fairly sleek and fits under the monitor, although I moved it to the nightstand. The audio is pretty good for movies and loud enough for what I want. The buttons on top are not noticeable unless you get close by - they are somewhat hard to use if you want the FM radio, but fine if you're just going to use bluetooth, no need to touch them.
