I've been looking on monoprice to go from my aluminum MacBook -> my CRT tv's RCA. So, I have to go from mini-DP -> VGA (with analog converter) -> S-Video/RCA.

I found this on monoprice:
http://www.monoprice.com/products/p...=10428&cs_id=1042801&p_id=5135&seq=1&format=2

it's $18 and goes from displayport to VGA, but also has a built-in chip for analog. I already have a VGA to S-Video adapter. It's not a huge $50 converter, but would The device get the analog signal to my tv from my MacBook?

And yes, I know it's displayport. But, I also have a mini-dp to displayport adapter.

sorry to double post, but someone please help!

I need to get something like this by next week, and time is ticking....
