Would you be willing to pay more for a 3G iPhone and Data Plan

I voted for "I would not be willing pay more for a 3G iPhone or the Data Plan" because of the following reasons...

• I can use WIFI where I would spend most of my time: work & home.
• I'm switching from T-Mobile so I'm already used to EDGE; unlike the people who may be acustomed to EVDO.
• EDGE doesn't seem all that bad to me... granted, like I said above, I'm used to it.
• I already paid $600 for the phone and $80/month for the plan... I really can't justify spending any more.

First off, why would you pay more? It's not a matter of cost, but battery life, device size, and network availability.

Second, no because I don't have 3G coverage.

eh depends on how much more...

if you take the cost of an 8 gig iphone and the cheapest plan ($59.99)it comes out to roughly $83 per month total cost of ownership over the 2 year contract.

That's more than enough to spend on my cell phone.

If I were a real road warrior I might want 3G more and be happy to pay for it.

I agree. I find the only reason I would need 3G would be for browsing (not email) and I find the screen a little small for true browsing. However, some of the Mobile Only sites (like my movie schedule) work just fine on EDGE since there is not that much data. Also, do not use YouTube.
