iPad Air Would you ditch your favorite color for a discount?

I need advice: I can buy a new iPad Air (256gb) for 318 euro (375 USD). Regular retail price is 839 euro (990 USD). A steep discount.

BUT I can only choose silver & grey as color options. I really like blue, but that's not available.

What would you do? Choose another color, as the discount is too good to pass up? Or don't buy the iPad at all?

I'm very interested in what you guys would decide!

I’d get the cheaper option and either get the blue Smart Folio or convince myself to see my preferred shade of blue whenever I look at the iPad.

At that much of a discount I’d go with the cheaper one, after making sure it works and is a legit offer.

Run with the discounted color if it is legit. The idea of choosing the Smart Folio in the color you wanted is a good idea.

Back in the day, the body color was linked to the bezel color. If you wanted an iPad with a black bezel, you only had one body color choice. Bezel color was the primary decision to make.

But now, they all have black bezels. And now that there are no long any smartcovers, if you are going to use anything to cover the front, it will cover the back... covering up the body color.

So from a practical perspective, body color really only matters for those who will NOT be using a case. If you are going to use a case, I suggest getting the silver (as it is "neutral") and getting the case color of your choice.... they'll go together.

Get the discount for sure. I wish I could get that kind of deal. Color of my iPad is unimportant. I keep it in a case where I can choose whatever color I want. Your employer is nice to do this for you.

Definitely get the cheaper option. You can always buy a blue case.

All the colors except maybe Rose Gold appear to be muted this time. So considering the discount, I think you can go for Silver or Space Grey. Silver looks good on my iPad Pro.

My bet is that is the Air3.

Even through an employee program, 62% off of an Apple product is unheard of. And 318 euro (375 USD) lines up exactly to what a previous gen product would sell for. So make sure there's a return policy because that seems like a typo or an uninformed price quote.
