would you get your glass replaced at a kiosk?

all the iphones my wife and I have owned we never had a cracked screen till now. so pay 150 at apple or just get the glass replaced?

Are the phones less than a year old? Applecare+?

I ask because having AC+ reduces the price considerably. And I also ask because if you don't have AC+ and you get the glass replaced while the phone is less than a year old you will effectively void the remainder of your one year warranty.

So, if later on (but still before a year is up) you need warranty service from Apple and they find a non-Apple OEM screen replacement you're done. They won't fix it.

less then a year well it has to be it is a 6s but no apple care I have never needed it. it knocks off 50.00 off the cost. but yes I don't want to void the warranty.

Well in that case do not get your screen replaced anywhere else other than Apple. You still have Apple's complimentary 1 year warranty coverage which you'd not want to void. Besides, chances are that Apple might only charge you $99 if you're lucky.
