What do you think is the next design step for the 27 5k?
What about a curved design providing optimal viewing angle for desk work?

In principle this would be good. What about reality? And would you like to see it?

Making a curved display would increase the size of the panel, so in order to achieve that and keep the Retina level pixel density, you would probably need more like an.. 8k display.

I think I'd like that though.

It might be a challenge to be able to fit in the internal components and cooling to a chassis that is curved however.

Why does it have to be curved? I've got a perfect viewing angle with my current 27". It would obstruct a lot of space on my desk.

I'm not sure to be honest. I don't know if its something that will work well in a desktop computer setting.

I think a curved display starts to make sense at about the 34" size.

A "curved" 27" display doesn't make any sense to me.

Perhaps 40" or more, ok.
But 27" -- that seems pointless.

I really do not hope that they will. I have a strong dislike for curved screens. How am I supposed to see if pictures/objects/elements on the screen are straight if it is curved?

If anything, a 32" iMac would be nice. I like having everything on one screen and the 27" has started to feel a bit cramped sometimes.
