Hello everyone,
I am new here. I currently own a 17" macbook pro that I use for video editting (weddings etc.) One of my buddies has aa 20" Imac G5 1 gig, 2.1 GHZ processor and 250 GB hard drive. He is offering it to me for $200? Would you make the purchase or try to get a G5 tour that can be upgraded more? I would be using this for video editting.

Your macbook pro will definitely be faster and generally better for video editing than an iMac g5, which I would not purchase anyhow, as they are known for having several annoying problems.

To clarify, I would not buy any G5 at this point, as there is very little current software compatible with them.

No because it's worthless... Just like this Mac
If he was your buddy he would give it to you
