Chinese phones tend to come in huge sizes. I looked into the 6.9” Honor Note 10, but found out it most likely will not work on T-Mobile USA. I did however find the Xiaomi Mi max 3 should work. It’s a 6.9” phone with a 5500mah battery. The specs are midrange/ slightly below midrange, but the main draw is the lcd 6.9” screen.

I found a 6gb/128gb storage mi max online for $350 or so brand new. It’s $60 cheaper for the 4gb/64gb model. The Honor Note 10 is $5-$700 depending on where you buy it. I saw flossy carter do a review of it, but he didn’t really talk about what lte bands did or didn’t work. I believe atnt has a few that work, but seems like everyone else is out of luck. Not sure if there will be one that works here, but it’s most likely never gonna be an option. There is even a 7.2” Chinese phone set to drop soon!

I am debating picking up the 6.9” mi max 3 because it is confirmed to work on Tmobile. Not all bands, but enough apparently. It’s very low end, but the reviews are positive. In the review of the honor note 10, flossy carter had a galaxy note 9 next to it, and it is much bigger looking. It is a shame there are no BIG phones that are marketed towards the us. Not sure why no one has released a 6.9” phone here that is 100% ready for our networks. Would you guys support a 6.9” iPhone or some other high end android? The issue is price, since I’m sure a 6.9” galaxy or iPhone would be $1500+. At that price it’s a joke.

This is just me, but I would support any phone that I can fit in my pocket.

If I could pair it with a cellular smart watch with a three day battery life, I would support even larger than that.
The mi max 3 apparently gets 2-3 day battery life for light users.

Well at that size I would like to see some OS tweaks that would make special use of the extra size. So that it would not feel like an oversized version of a standard sized phone.

I’d like such a device to replace my aging iPad mini 4 that Apple apparently has no interest in refreshing. However I think it would be a bit unwieldy as my daily driver.

The new iPhone XSuper Duper Max Edition or whatever it's called is going to be 6.5".

I mean 0.5" isn't much off 6.9" - by my maths, that's...

Hang on, I'll come back to you, let me just work it out

Looking at Xiaomi 6.9” mi max 3 spec, looks good.
Go with Xiaomi, it is going to be in the States sooner or later, some point of time, they will follow One plus to enter US market.

A phone that size needs to be a foldable. I imagine I would have a lot of trouble just holding it let alone answering it or operating it with one hand.

As the Xs Max is the same size as the 6,6s,7 and 8 plus I don’t think I’d really want to go any bigger than that for practical reasons. I don’t find these models overly big, but I wouldn’t call them ultra svelte either.

I would support something like this, but 1) I don't think I would buy Android because of the privacy issue and 2) I really don't think I'd buy from a Chinese company due to the same. I'd also love to see a return to a decent 16:9 form factor,

God no. I am so over this big phone trend it’s ridiculouslous. The Max could be 500 bucks and I wouldn’t touch it let alone at its current price.
