So as the title says, If the iPhone 13 Pro's were going to include a AOD feature as I am so hopeful of, wouldnt someone have seen this code for it in the iOS 15 Beta by now?

I would think they would have activated it in the iOS 15 beta. LTPO isn’t REQUIRED for AOD, it just offers much better battery life since the screen can scale down to a 1hz refresh rate.

My guess is it’s either coming later in the iOS 15 cycle after the new phones are released or it’s coming with iOS 16 for the 13 and 14.

They do a good job at hiding those types of things. I’m guessing they’ll include all the code for it in the RC release.

That’s actually how some iPhone X details leaked, the RC version of iOS 11 leaked in 2017.

Not necessarily. Assuming the new phones would get that feature, it's not like the initial 15.0 version has to have that. The phones could easily ship with 5.1, or it be a feature activated in the future like 5.2 or 5.3 etc. Plenty of new iPhone features don't show up in betas every year.

That being said, I wouldn't ever expect an iPhone with an AOD. Apple already has one they'd rather sell you: The Apple Watch.

New phones are being loaddd with 15.0.

Each iPhone iteration has its own installer file, so it’s likely the AOD code will be in the IPSW for the iPhone 13.

This happens every year, there are features on the new phones we don’t evidence in the beta we have, as it’s segregated out.
