Okay, so i just had this idea. With the new back-to-my-mac feature announced at WWDC, do you think it could be feasible to have this functionality in the iPhone? Imagine, you're on the bus or train, or somewhere away from home or the office. You realize you need a Keynote for a presentation you're doing later, and you forgot your flash drive plugged into your iMac. Oh no! What do you do? Just take out your iPhone, log into the back-to-my-mac feature, and have full access to your files. Then when you get to the presentation, you can just load the file onto any other Mac, and boom!

Apple, if you didn't think of this yet, but end up using the idea, I expect full compensation (a.k.a. free iPhone, and a brand new 17" MacBook Pro, and lots of other cool stuff).

it makes perfect sense that you would be able to do that with your .mac account - especially since there will be the full safari app on the phone. How cool would that be! That feature alone would be worth the money for the iPhone!

Just 16 days!! I feel like a little kid counting down the days till Santa comes...

That would be a great idea.

I would really hope so. The "Back-to-my-Mac" feature has to be my number one favorite thing to come out of WWDC. It would sure seem to make sense.

... and one more thing

and you could potentially upload files to websites that were on your home computer. Not only is that useful, your home computer would have real bandwidth and the iPhone's connection wouldn't have to be involved for the upload. In other words, you could upload a 5MB file on your home computer through your iPhone using EDGE very quickly. That's cool.
