...and it will eventually probably be $1.99 ;) Most apps that start at $10 eventually lower down to the $0.99-$2.99 range.

FWIW (I don't know if you're just trolling or actually serious), a quick perusal of Gameloft games that bowed at $7.99-$9.99 shows that their current prices are...

Brain Challenge - $4.99
Ferrari GT Evolution - $4.99
CSI Miami - $4.99
Real Soccer 2009 - $4.99
Terminator Salvation - $5.99
Asphalt 4: Elite Racing - $4.99
Brothers in Arms - $4.99
Hero of Sparta - $4.99

AFAIK, none of their major $8-10 games have ever dropped down to $1.99.... They might do it. But so far, they haven't. A drop of another $1 is expectable, but there's no historical evidence to expect much more.

haha I feel sorry for those who got it earlier for $10

Thanks for the heads up, but we could do without the stupid taunts.

I played Assassin since the first hour it came out. I didn't have to wait like a beggar at the foot of the church to enjoy it. That's worth 4 bucks to me.

I don't see why I would be trolling in this thread.

Two quick examples are Enigmo, release price $9.99, current price $1.99 (was actually $0.99 for a short time)...Cro-Mag Rally, release price $9.99, current price $0.99....

I said eventually.

What you should really look at, is the developer.

Both those games, Enigmo and Cro-Mag Rally, are made by Pangea.. and all of their games have dropped to $0.99 no matter what price they are. Gameloft (Assassin's Creed's Developer) does not have a record of lowering the price of a game to $0.99 that started from $9.99, the lowest it ever did was to $4.99.

If you look on average, most of the $9.99 games that are not made by Pangea are either $5.99 or $4.99

And if you look about

yeah, no need to rub it in... when this game drops to 4.99, you'll be the one that feels like you got ripped off.
