Recently installed DP2 and find it to be a huge improvement over DP1...

...of course.

Much faster

Mail push works across all devices (including Android)

Minor to no compatibility issues with installed software (and I have dozens of apps).

Only initial problems I see...

* Newer (beta) versions of Chrome tend to crash when viewing web pages, particularly hitting back page
* TotalFinder does not work with this release.

After a few hours of use I would go as far to say that for most basic of things, this is a very stable operating system. I intend to keep it on my primary computer right through the betas to final GM.

For me is much worse and slower than dp1 .Safari is slower too.Text on top menu feels like even smaller and blurier .Very ugly overall.

I don't notice the slowdown.

I guess it varies from hardware to hardware.

As for the look...

Something tells me, based on prior Mavericks DP/Beta experience, that the look is going to be further refined with each update.

I hope it gets better for you.

I am on a late 2012 27" iMac with 3.4GHz i7 Processor and 32 GB Ram

Probably the reason I don't see a slowdown.

Overall performance has improved, but battery life has not improved. Sucks especially a Macbook that is supposed to have 12 hours of battery life. Only getting 7 hours. Can't wait for GM.
