I have been searching for the best todo list that has a voice record application in it and well, YOU NOT is the COOLEST thing i have downloaded so far!!! Now granted, i am looking for FREE apps because i'm cheap and think some of the free ones are better than paid.. but this is AWESOME!!

I'm soo syched.. all i would like to see added to this app would be a reminder service OR a way to put a note into a day on the iphone calender (but no one does that yet)

So far, so freak good though!!!

i just have ONE question, how do you use the web clips function>??

It's pretty good, but it's a little buggy for me. I actually just e-mailed them about it.

It's more suited to my needs than most of the pay apps, but not quite there yet.

I haven't used the web clip function, but you type in the URL, hit "Go," wait for the page you want to load, and then hit "OK." That'll bring you back to the YouNote page, where you can add notes and a title.

Thanks for the tip, downloading as we speak. I had been meaning to find something like this so hopefully this fits the bill.

i havent really used it all that much yet, but just the features in it are amazing.. like i said, there is just ONE thing that i would like, and thats a REAL reminder system, preferably through my existing calender app.. but like i said, i THINK SDK isn't allowing that because no one else has been able to do it..

Maybe i will email the company and see if anything like that is in the future!! having a voice clip on a day of the calender that pops up a reminder message would literally be PERFECT!!

From what I understand, it can use it, but it can't spontaneously alert you to something when the app isn't running. That's what's not allowed by Apple. Nothing can run in the background.

but the app would not have to remind you because the note your created would just be exported to the calender, and it would be the actual calender that reminded you! this way the only function of the app is to really just expand the way the functions that input the data INTO the calender application.. thisway you CAN have a drawing on a certain day, or a voice message for a certain day..

does that make sense??

If you want access to the notes on the web, not only on your iPhone, than I would choose Evernote. I don't really like it, but I much prefer to keep my notes private. That said, I do wish there were a desktop app, or even a way of editing/importing notes into YouNote, which you can do with Evernote.

And, lindsay, I see what you're saying now. That would be a great addition. :)

I have EverNote and I really love the character recognition from pictures you take, but I hate that I have to be connected to the net to see my notes and it doesn't cache/save them.

I also don't like how it's no private, and it seems like this app is good. Man, I wish evernote was amazing.

I'm trying to decide between this and Evernote. I like how I can use Evernote on the desktop too.
