For those that have played on both screens, can you give us some insight? Do you have to scale down on the 27? Is the 27 too big for good game play, ie, too much real estate to navigate, eye strain, etc etc etc?

Thanks.

Personally, from when I played on a friends 27", I thought it was too big. 20" seems about right for me. If you use lots of add-ons and mostly use keyboard shortcuts it would be good though.

That's a lot of screen real estate. I would think it could be too big only if you sat too close to it. I have a 23" ACD and I am sitting about 2.5' from it. Really, it all comes down to preference.

My new Mini has a hdmi port and I am definitely going to try it on my led flat screen tv when it arrives. I figure 7-8' away from a 52" should be about right.

Playing at 2560 x 1440 on my 27" is a site to behold. I would agree that it would come down to personal preference, but at first glance it seems very large, however give it a few days and you will find yourself liking it.

wow is one of those games that you don't play for graphics, you play for its overall art style. and with an art style as great as wow's bigger is certainly better. But i will agree with what everyone else says and it all depends on how far you sit from the screen. also a bigger screen might help you when you get to the big 25 man raids.
