WoW on Leopard?

It will definitely run.
No huge architecture changes were made that should affect 99% of apps.
There might be some driver issues or something with other machines and video cards, etc, but that would affect a lot of things and not just WoW, so I'm pretty sure we should all be safe

I'm more concerned about Ventrilo: Apparently you can't see the channel list in Leopard.

What proof do you have of this? Not that I doubt you but it seems like its out of the blue.

I also noticed that WoW ran noticable faster on my Macbook when I was using it on there. Very nice, indeed.
Uhh...when did it crash he was in it for like 3 seconds in a spaces demo..but whatever. I heard that the new open GL would almost double the preformance as well. I'm very happy about this.Jobs was running WoW in the last WWDC keynote, (and it crashed on him)
I'll be interested to see the performance increase on WoW. I currently have a 9600xt and my FPS isn't that great (~30). If it gave a decent boost to frame rate that would probably satisfy me enough to not buy an x800xt.
There's several posts from a Blizzard dev over on the Mac support forum, stating that dual PPC users will benefit quite a bit from Leopard....

Do not expect to have a faster WoW on Leopard.
I've been playing WoW for about six months in Tiger and with the same computer and a fresh install of Leopard it runs SLOWER.

The Leopard performance story may well vary from system to system (especially on brand new installs where Spotlight indexing is underway).
Those links are giving me a 404 error, but I assume it's the same solution that was posted on the WoW forums a little while ago (changing something to 20).
Leopard actually fixed a bug on my computer (2.4GHz MBP, 8600M GT). Before, in tiger, I had a problem where FPS would be very jerky and I had to set maximumfps to minimize the appearance of this problem, now it is completely gone and I can get rid of my FPS cap.
I think you caught me while I was in the middle of migrating from Typo to WordPress. They do work.
For that matter, a google search of "ventrilo leopard" will bring up my site.
Leopard made no noticeable improvement on my Power Mac G5 dual-core 2.3 GHz (5.5G RAM, X1900). I'm surprised. I expected a large change when us PPC folks got multi-threaded OpenGL. I tried /console glfaster 1 and 2 to no effect, though I think 1 is the default anyway.
By the way, a new prototype Ventrilo client has been posted which works for Leopard.

Just don't try to format your HD to HFS+ Journaled & Case-Sensitive.
The WoW installer isn't best mates with Case-Sensitveness, and I had issue with the patches trying to run on it too.

My system is a macbook pro santa rosa. The one with the nvidia *600 series.
I'm sorry but I don't trust the comments thay say that WoW runs faster on Leopard than on Tiger.
Give us some benchmarks, screens, and more details.
Wow does run good on Leopard that's when it runs that is. On my 24" Alum iMac its super tempermental crashes sometimes after 30 secs and sometimes after 3 hours but it crashes way more then it did in Tiger. I think it's an ATI driver issue but that's just me, cause I and many others are experiencing many graphic glitches on the HD2900 chips that come with the new iMac. Apple needs to fix this already I thought that Leopard would fix this but to my experience it actually made it worse.
