I know this is a very specific question, but I am having some problems and maybe someone here has a similar setup that can help me out..
I typically run my MBP in clamshell mode hooked to my Westinghouse 37" TV (1080p LCD). I can get it to run in 1920x1080 in the desktop fine with no problems, if I hit the info button on the TV remote it reports 1080p (even though the resolution in OSX says interlaced). Now if I run WoW, set it to 1920x1080, it runs at 1080i and looks awful. I have to run it either in windowed mode at 1680x1050, or set a custom display set in SwitchResX to get WoW running at true 1080p. The only problem with the SwitchResX fix is that I can't use Command-M to switch to windowed mode in case I want to look something up - it just crashes the game completely.
Now, if I try to run WoW at 1080p in Win XP (bootcamp) with the exact same setup, it works with no problems whatsoever.
Anyone have advice? Thanks
