I have been using WoW since I got my SR MBP in Aug 07. 2.4GHz/4GB Ram/256MB GeForce 8600GT. ( I know my VidCard is suppose to be defective, but it is working fine in other things )

Anyway, I was getting good FPS at my settings in WoW. Typically around 80 while walking, and 50-60 in some combat situations.

I installed Teamspeak last night to talk to my buddy. This is a PPC app (I usualy never install PPC Apps, this is my first one since I reloaded OSX) I ran Teamspeak, of course it didnt work. And I promptly uninstalled it.

Now, my WoW FPS never go above 40, combat is like in the 20s.... I changed no settings wtf? I have restarted, ran maintence scripts, permissions, etc...

What can I do????

I'm saddened you didn't find TeamSpeak useful.
Erm, why?

Anyway, I can't see how installing any application would slow down WoW, PPC or not, unless it installed some sort of background app that's using a lot of CPU or something strange like that. But I would doubt it. Try the standard WoW troubleshooting of deleting the WTF folder, see if that helps. Perhaps try disabling your addons.

There are other voice chat options, such as the game's built-in voice chat, Ventrillo, or even iChat/AIM. If your goal is just to talk to your friend there are plenty of voice chat solutions that don't depend on WoW.
