Wow.

Yesterday I installed the newly available Yosemite Beta 4.

So, imagine my surprise when I am sitting here and as my iPhone rings, a
banner pops up on my iMac desktop telling me that there is a caller (complete
with caller ID).

I click on the banner and answer the call from my desktop. I carry on a
conversation with a friend. It's clear and distinct.

This kind of compatibility is one of the big reasons why I switched back to
the iPhone from Android. Really enjoying my iPhone 6 Plus and features like
these.

lol, yeah its pretty cool when you see it first time...especially when you realise that it isn't just a gimmick and that it works brilliantly. I have been using it with a 4s ever since the DPs came out and its worked perfectly.

You know that you can call directly from Contacts, Safari (where ever you see a phone number), mail and maps to name a few. When you do it from maps, it actually puts the map location in your Recent calls list.

Activate, thanks for that information. Had no idea I could place calls directly from my contacts. Will try that.
