Mymobile (Based on Windows CE6.0)
Actually Meizu has changed their OS a lot so it doesn't really resemble the iPhone's. It really used to be a ripoff. Now it has some really cool touches.
And here is the show stopper, right from their website:
Exactly. It originally was a total copy. Now they're using their own ideas.
Actually, using WinCE 6.0 is A Good Thing. That's a very robust and powerful version of CE.
(It's not Windows Mobile.)
That image just reminds me of the 1.0.0 times.Yes I experience 1.0.0, I also remember how simple everything was.
So did many other people. THe simplicity was revolutionary.
Has this thing actually come out yet? Engadget have been reporting on it for a long time now, and it seems to have been delayed more than Vista!
Anyhoo, I doubt it will sell/is selling. It's a iPhone knock-off made by a Chinese company no one's heard of that runs Windows CE!
"Take the M8. Meizu has opened nearly 500 trendy stores across China, and they can be as crowded as a dance floor — just like Apple outlets in the United States.
Its M8 is strikingly similar to the iPhone not only in design but also in technical specifications. It has but one physical button on its front, along with a large touch screen. It has an icon-based interface, a 3-megapixel camera that can also capture video, and it even comes with headphones that resemble the iconic white earbuds that Apple ships with its iPods and iPhones.
In some ways, the M8 appears superior to the iPhone. It shoots video at a slightly higher resolution, for example, and includes a higher-resolution screen. The M8 starts at about $280 and has some features coveted by Chinese that are not available with the iPhone, including dual SIM card slots and an extra replaceable battery."
Damn! What an LG Prada rip off!^^^^^
