Just a PSA for anyone using a Sound Blaster (I'm using the X7) — the device doesn't seem compatible with 10.11 currently. Getting lots of distortion on one reboot and a missing device on the other. I've tried to hack the 10.9 AppleUSBAudio.kext into the system and tried to make the Creative kexts compatible but both efforts have been unsuccessful. If you stumble upon the same or a similar issue, I'd appreciate connecting here.

You do realize this sub-forum is mainly for people who are running the El Capitán previews to present issues they find with the preview so everyone can look for workarounds or just avoid those features. Why are you even poking around in this forum if you have no desires to be involved in the beta process?
Bollocks.. Those who legitimately have El Cap are subject to an NDA. They should be discussing it in the Apple Dev forums, not on MR.
If anyone's interested, the driver works under beta 2 — apparently Apple has re-worked the AppleUSBAudio.kext.
I don't see any 10.11 drivers on the Creative website. I assume you using 10.10 drivers, or did you find 10.11 beta drivers somewhere?
An NDA when there is a public beta offered BY Apple that anyone can sign up for?
