MS has recently halted that due to problems, you have to use Nokia's software recovery tool to downgrade to 8.0, then upgrade.
I couldn't get that Nokia's Windows only software to install on my VMWare so I guess no Cyan for me until they fix it if they ever do.

This was for those using the security software Bitlocker. If you weren't using Bitlocker, the download was fine.

Cyan firmware just hit AT&T today for the Lumia 1520. I had to revert back to Windows Phone 8 from the Dev Preview first to ensure a smooth upload. Luckily, it's a simple procedure.

But so far, the firmware update with 8.1 has been perfect on my 1520. Now to wait for the AT&T Lumia 1020 firmware to drop and the T-Mobile version to drop for my 925.

For anyone else that is on the 8.1 Dev Preview, I highly recommend downgrading back to WP 8 before installing Cyan. Just simply download the Nokia Software Recovery Tool from Nokia's website, install it and when it tells you to, plug the phone in to the computer. Everything else is done automatically for you.
