Hey guys, this has been a problem since the first beta, thought I'd make a post for it now that Yosemite is actually out and it STILL hasn't been fixed. Basically on a WPA2 Enterprise connection wifi will occasionally drop out and require you to quickly turn off and back on wifi to reconnect to the network.

Clearing out profiles, forgetting the network and re-entering it, etc... don't seem to do any good. I would have thought Apple would have fixed it by now as they presumably use that wifi standard at HQ, but, nope. Anyone else having the problem/can think up anything creative to try?

Yes, internet continually dropping.

Pretty ridiculous that they didn't fix this when they knew it was a problem.

Same issue. I have a standard router here at my desk which works fine, but the WPA2 Enterprise WiFi disconnects after 5-10 minutes and sits there trying to reconnect.

I've cleared my keychains and deleted all the remembered networks and the problem remains. The connection is solid and stable with an identical machine with Mavericks.

I've been reporting this problem with Feedback Assistant since beta 2.

I'm just glad I'm not the only one. But yeah, I can't fathom how they don't have it fixed by now.

Some of our users are experiencing wifi problems after updating to 10.10. We are using 802.1x PEAP authentication with Aruba equipment. I'd be curious to hear the authentication types and vendors used by others seeing similar issues.

Looking at the logs, when the problem occurs, it appears that clients are roaming between APs several times per second. It's unclear if the AP is dropping the client, forcing the roam, or the computer is purposely trying to join a different AP.
