Hey all,

I'm in an elementary programming course in college and I'm using the telnet in Terminal to connect to the network (professor has access and that's how he grades the homeworks).

Anyway, I've written a program using pico and want to save (read: WriteOut). The keystrokes I know from Windows are Ctrl+O, but in trying that with my Mac (as well as other iterations of commands and the letter O), I have gotten nowhere. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, I'm on a MacBook Pro.

The problem is that when I do enter CTRL+O, it doesn't show anything that I'm used to seeing. I'm a newbie to programming as it is, so I think it's just me... I hit CTRL+X and it exited the program promptly after asking me to save. :D Go figure.

I guess I was just spazzing over the fact that it didn't actually do anything (the program still showed that it was "modified" after using CTRL+O, so I was confused).
