Writting app with 17" PowerBook?

I was wondering what, if any, writing application come with the 17" powerbooks? Also, what is Quickbooks, and isn't it suppose to come with the PB? Thanks!

for some wierd reason the tech at my school, her pb 17'' came with Office X; she said she didnt order it

The powerbook 17 in does come with office x test drive version. It does not come preloaded with apple works. You will have to shell out money for either ms office or apple works.

There is a free office suite called open office that you can download from the web. I have never tried it though.
