Just got one but not near iTunes so had to enter the APN settings manually to get connected. However, connection speeds are appalling (<1Mb/s) whereas with my Vodafone chopped down dongle SIM I was consistently getting > 2Mb/s and sometimes > 3Mb/s so I'm wondering if:-

a) The ipcc file via iTunes from Orange is necessary OR
b) The APN I've input is incorrect

I've used
APN: orangeinternet
Username: Orange
Password: multimedia

Any ideas?

i have just set it up with orange over the phone and i didn't get any connection even after putting the data settings - they haven't even e-mailed the info yet either

OK, but are the data settings they advised the same as those I posted above?

Switched back to my chopped Vodafone MicroSim in the meantime. More than three times faster than the Orange.

Speed test results - the current is Vodafone, the prior tests were Orange
