My first gen iphone cought the apple screen of death a couple days ago and when i went in to the apple store they restored it and it worked fine for me.

Today, about 24 hours after i got the phone fixed, it started to not recieve calls and when someone would call me it would go to voicemail like my phone was off. Also, when it went to the voicemail, it would say some wierd #(314-494-5262 or sumthing). That's not even close to my number. When people would leave voicemails i don't get them and now nobody has any way to reach me.

has anybody else had this problem?
does anybody know if i can fix this myself or will i have to go to an att store?

Does your correct number appear in iTunes? Have you tried calling at&t to see if there is an account error (like it is linked to the wrong SIM/IMEI number)? Beyond that, I'd get a new SIM card and get it reactivated.

TEG

the right phone number appears in itunes when in plug it in.

I haven't called att about it at all. I was thinking it was the SIM card but wasn't sure. Is the SIM card the only thing you think could be wrong with it or maybe software? I was thinking it is basically all with att because it has nothing to do with the actual phone but i wasn't sure.

thanks

do you think doing a restore might help at all?

thanks
