Hello everybody.

I have been days trying to find a solution for this, but I ain´t able to do that, so maybe somebody can help me.
Last week I forgot to set in my Watch the start of a workout, so I add it later manually. It was a simple one, from 5:45 to 6:15. Problem was that I set AM for the start and PM for the end, so I have more than 11 hours of workout...

I thought ¨well, just delete it and at add it again, but remember to select the <<delete workout and all its data>> option", and so I did, paying attention to do that way, and got the workout deleted. But...the data are still there 🙇‍♂️

Don´t know what happened, because I´m 100% sure of having selected the right option, no mistakes there. I don´t know if there is a way to delete that data that I cannot find or is a bug in the system.

Anybody knows something about this?

Thank you so much in advance. Of course, it´s not the end of the world, but it´s unbalancing my statistics and I would like to get them right.

I use the Health app to manually add my indoor cycling workout, under cycling, shoe all data I have the option to delete and then re-add.
What app and what workout did you use?

I use the Fitness app in the Apple Watch to set off my workout and if I forget to add one I use the Health app on my iPhone to do it. What you said is what I usually do when I forget to add with the watch any out, but this time is the first one that I have had this problem.

See below from my Health app, at the bottom, show all data, when I go there I have an Edit in the upper night hand corner that lets me delete entries - what does yours show?

Can you post a screenshot? Can’t tell what you’re seeing and can’t delete

Yes,of course. I have attached 2 screenshot, one from All Data in Health app, where you can check there are 3 workouts with a total 1h time, and one from Fitness app, where you can see it shows 773 minutes of exercise that same day.

I just added a "cycling workout" in the Health app, it did show the calories/distance/duration I entered , but when I went into the workout view in the Health app and click on "Edit" it let me delete it.
what OS versions are you on?

I think I'm not explaining myself very well. I'm able to do that, indeed that's what I did. The issue is that after deleting the training, the data of the training are still in the Excercise ring 🤷‍♂️

I'm in the latest versions WatchOS and iOS.

when I tried it I got the option to delete the workout only or the workout and data ...

Yes, that was I was meaning to in my first message, that I am 100% sure of having chosen the option of deleting the workout and data, since I knew that and took good care of not touching the wrong option. That’s why I think that maybe is a bug of the system, but I don’t know if there’s another way to get that false exercise time deleted.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding as well, but, deleted only in Health? Or deleting offending workout in both Health and Fitness?

I never even tried until I saw your post but you can actually delete a workout/session in the Fitness app.
But I don't see a way to add a workout there, only in the Health app afaik

Correct. But OP is showing a workout in Fitness, so maybe only deleted in Health while "bad" workout is still in Fitness mucking things up.

ADD: and believe Health workouts do not sync to Fitness, so adding to Health should not do anything to Fitness numbers/values. Hence, the ring data is incorrect for that day, will be incorrect for that no matter what, best can do is to delete the workout from Fitness. I think.

actually they do, just added a running workout in Health and it does show in Activity (Activity actually does not have its own dataset, everything is in Health).
Then I deleted this running workout in Fitness, will post the screenshot from my phone as a followup
Here it is

What I conclude from this: OP should be able to delete the "wrong" data from either Fitness or Health app
