I hadn't re-calibrated my battery in awhile, so last week I decided to. After I did, my battery health dropped down to 65% after only 24 charge cycles (I keep it plugged in most of the time). This doesn't seem right to me. Is there a chance I messed up the calibration that could cause this? Like not leaving it unplugged and off for long enough?

Any suggestions? I'll probably try to re-calibrate again and see if it changes anything.

Well do the re-calibrate thing. If that fails, just call up Apple and tell them that the thing only has xxx load cycles and its not even a year old yet. They should replace it no problem. At least they did that with me

My battery did pretty much the same exact thing when it was around 11 months old (last May). All I did was call Apple and let them know the numbers I was seeing and they sent out a new battery and had me return the old one for free.

Try another calibration and see if it does anything, but call Apple and see what they can do.
