okay so this has happened like 3 ****ing times now.. I don't get Itunes!!! It's pretty simple all I want to do is take what on my iphone and put it on my computer, but instead ****ing itunes takes whats on my computer and erases everything that is new on my phone!... I don't understand everytime I want to put music on my phone it MAKES me (even though i've checked off dont sync applications) delete my applications and sync with my itunes library...

Why can't it ****ing be simple.. what am I missing, I've done "backup phone" and everything but the apps dont move over... and anything I want to do to the phone it says erase applications that are not in itunes library..

Is there an alternate method I just dont get itunes, I have it jailbroken and have downloaded the same ****ing apps like 5 times! all I want to do is be able to change my music and backup my applications, why does itunes feel the need to erase everything to have it "synced" with the computer when clearly the computer isnt the most upto date device, I'm obviously going to dl stuff from my phone..

Best way to learn

read the manual. And don't get so overly frustrated with things. Take your time. Read and create threads without vulgarity. You'll get a better response.

I don't understand what you're having trouble with. How did this content get on your phone? Is it purchased content that's not syncing up with iTunes? Are you syncing with the same computer you used to add the content? You do realize that iTunes sync is one-way (computer to phone) except for the camera roll and content purchased through iTunes and the AppStore on your phone. And iTunes won't sync Cydia apps or media downloaded to your phone via dTunes or other third-party applications.

As stated before, the only things that go TO iTunes (Phone to computer) are purchases on your phone and pictures.

There are other apps that pull songs off your iPod though and may work with the iPhone. Yamipod I think may work for songs.

If you're looking for Apps... Then you have to have some computer for them right? If that's the case I think you can copy them into your other computers iTunes library and you'll be fine. If you purchased them on the phone then I think they should be transfering...
