Hello Guys...

Want to understand what is going on with my Mac... When I check storage it says iCloud drive is using about 190gb of space! in my mac! I feel like shooting someone at apple for this, clearly something is wrong because on my iCloud drive desktop and documents folder is disabled + I only have about 12gb of files on my iCloud drive and thats it!

What could it be and how do I get rid of it?

Thanks!
JC

Bump... anyone?
It is most likely a classification issue. Possibly caused by Spotlight.

To create your own numbers, enter the following command in a Terminal window.

Code:
sudo du -d 1 -x -c -g /

This will provide a high level view. The slash at the end can be extended to drill down. /Users will give a total by user. /Users/<username> will show you the usage of the primary directories, such as Library, Documents, Downloads, etc.

My understanding is that the iCloud Drive content will be in /Users/<username>/Library/Mobile Documents.

Also, check the iCloud.com site and see what it says your storage is there.
