I mean, SOMETIMES, this thing will work and pause music when I want it to, other times, it wont. Sometimes, I'll press once for PAUSE, and it friggin skips ahead to the next song, and then I keep pressing it (in a way it cannot interpret as a double click), and eventually it stops skipping and pauses or plays...I mean, WTF....Please tell me I just have a faulty one I need to get Apple to replace and this isn't happening to everyone else because I love the idea of this thing and not having to touch my iPhone to play or pause music...!

Wirelessly posted (Apple Communication Device: Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420+ (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/1C28 Safari/419.3)

no problems here

you have a bad one, go to apple store and get it exchanged. I had one where if you bumped the mic the sound would cut out of one ear, and I took it in and they exchanged it no questions.

Mine just went through the washer and the dryer. Found it fluffed and folded in my Dickies pocket thanks to the cleaning lady. Still works like a champ, but now it's much cleaner.

I'd say you got a bad headphone, or lint/dirt in the jack.

I have the problem that sometimes it works and sometimes it doesnt,

removing it from the iPhone, cleaning off the jack, and blowing out the hole it works again,
