I was adjusting the Crossfade playback in iTunes and notices that Crossfade was capitalized and playback was not. Sound Enhance and Sound Check were also capitalized. I guess I'm just so anal about spelling and stuff like that.

I'd have to agree that you are very anal about spelling and capitalization. It does look weird to have the others capitalized, and playback not, though. I'm on the PC version, and playback is still uncapitalized. If you would have never said anything, I wouldnt've noticed!

Sound Enhancer is the name of a feature.
Sound Check is the name of a feature.
You can also crossfade the playback.

I'm probably wrong tho

I would have to agree that it probably is on purpose...also, does this really require the WTF "F-bomb" in the title?!?!

Whether it does or does not is debatable. If you deem it unreasonable, you can always report the post.

F-bomb. Lol. You sond like my geometry teacher.

I just thought it would get people's attention, better than the tital "iTunes forgot to capatlize 'playback' in the prefs"

I kill myself sometimes.

It was sort of a joke, and why is it not debatable? Just wondering.

I don't think it is a reportable offense by any means, but unnecessary in this instance. Maybe a title that is more along the lines of iTunes spelling error might be in order. Anyway, I simply asked musicpyrite the question not anyone else really.

Read the above post.

By the way, flyfish29, do you fly fish much? I love to I hope to go tommrow, it is going to be >60 F (finally), you think we would get more good weather up here at 'sunny' Cape Cod. Anyways, catching blues and rainbows is better than catching no fish at all. :)

i'm going to vote for grammatically correct, as per stoid's post. if it were:

Check sound
Enhance playback

it would be correct to capitalize the first word and not the second, because it's a sentance fragment; it contains a verb and a noun. but since it's the name of a feature, it's treated like a proper noun and both words are capitalized.

how often do you change crossfade, sound check, or sound enhancer? it can't be that bad...

but what really annoys me is those people who type like this:
wEN pEpeL TypE LiKE thIs, It aNNOys the CrAp OuT OF mE...

it's not very fast either...

I can't wait until the specs come out for iTunes 5.

"New features: Changed capitalization in preferences" :D

If that doesn't get windows users to switch over, I don't know what will.
