Okay, so right now iTunes is telling me that my synced iPhone 3G has 850 MB of video on it. However, the only videos I have on is one 35 MB podcast and two 150 MB movies. That's not even half of what it is telling me.

Where is the other 450 MB of video hiding? Are they in apps or something?

Not to mention, on the iStat App on my Phone it is telling me I have 270 MB of free space, yet iTunes is telling me I have 94 MB of free space. WTF?

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU iPhone OS 3_0 like Mac OS X; en-us) AppleWebKit/528.18 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/4.0 Mobile/7A341 Safari/528.16)

Restore your firmware it might help.

Something went horribly wrong. Jailbroken? Hacked? I know syncing it a few times gets rid of a lot of "other" space, it might work for your problem. Or try a hard reset. If that fails then restore the firmware. I can't think of anything else.

That happened

to me a couple weeks ago...but it was a few gig of other...after a couple syncs it cleared up and was back to normal...

Nah, not JB or hacked or anything. And it says I have 450 MB of OTHER so not out of the ordinary .. I do have about 9 pages of Apps.

I just can't understand where the extra video storage is ..

Now I took off all the video and it correctly shows no video storage, but now I have 850 MB of OTHER.

Wow, 400-450 MB of something strange is jumping around my iPhone! LOL. Is it a ghost?!
