Very slight yellow on bottom. I don't know if I should send back (this is number 3) or deal with it.

That is an old screen to be in a new laptop isn't it?

You can't possibly have a week 10 (that's the first week of march),
the SR LED MBP's weren't even out then. You likely have a week
44 if it was built last week. Double check your serial #...

Did your machine come with Tiger (+ Leopard drop-in/upgrade
disc) or Leopard pre-installed?

First thing you should do is calibrate your display. I had
best luck with the Apple calibration utility in expert mode.
I used the default color temperature.
Once you calibrate it, I bet your yellow won't bother you
at all.

Totally weird, but I'm installing Leopard now and the white square install screen is displaying white white, so one would think if there were truly an issue the yellow would show on install as well. I'm not going to stress about it anymore. I'm going to keep this one. Besides the lid closes pretty darn close to perfect and its running quiet and cool.

Cool. Last day I can return mine. My lid don't close perfect,
but it didn't either on my powerbook and is not a big deal.
Otherwise, my MBP is perfect. I'm keeping it unless I find
something else wrong with it before the end of the day.
Can't wait to put this decision and yellow behind me so
I can finally enjoy my new laptop!

Yeah, I know what you mean, its been a whole lot of stress for one notebook huh LOL
