This countdown is completely wrong for me, it says 4 hours to go, when it's over a day away.

Same here, it says 1:38 remaining. I saw a post yesterday from someone in Australia who was having a similar issue, and I sent it to a friend in Arizona who said it was wrong for him too.
I would really like to see them stream on their website as well as they have done in the past. Don't feel like pouring through liveblogs tbh.

I think you're an hour off... it's showing 5 hours to go at 8:00 CDT. The keynote starts at 10:00AM PDT (12:00PM CDT).
The timer is off because its using the clients clock. Maybe make it server site to be accurate? Great job though. Like the design
