The iPhone and iPad have never been introduced in the same keynote, IIRC. I think the iPhone keynote will purely be about the iPhone. Maybe some updates about Apple Music (that's about the time when the free subscription ends, and it starts rolling out to Android), Apple Pay and Maps rolling out to more countries etc. Perhaps the Apple TV update as well.

Gone are the days when Steve Jobs could talk for 2 hours about the iPhone and we would all just listen enthralled. I don't think the iPhone in itself will take more than half an hour (form factor being the same and all).

I am guessing Apple may stick with the old formula of reserving the hardware and iPad updates for later in the year (maybe around October?). We may see new Macs with skylake, the iPad air 3, iPad mini 4, iPad Pro?
