We don't know yet. I guess Apple will shed some light on this in the next e-mail.
This mail will hopefully come soon. I don't want to waste to much time before booking my flight and hotel :/

Oh no, they won't. Sorry, I didn't consider this. They usually reply in one working dayWill they also respond during the weekend? Because every other Apple support is usually not reachable on Saturdays and Sundays...
Yes, according to the WWDC page:Hey, does anybody know if students under 18 need to be accompanied by one of there parents or an adult?
All attendees between the ages of 13 and 17 must have their parent or guardian complete and sign the WWDC Permission Statement, which will be provided to you after ticket assignment. Parents or guardians who are accompanying a minor who is attending WWDC may use the Scholarship Lounge at Moscone West, but may not attend sessions or labs, and do not need to purchase a ticket.
Hi, what's anyone in the UK doing about travel and accommodation? Thanks in advance #
Thanks for the help, not sure what I'm doing yet. What airport are you flying from?I'm from the UK and I'll most likely go with a hotel or something on Airbnb. I'll also probably be staying for at least 9-10 days so I can spend some more time in San Fransisco, visit the headquarters etc. in terms of flights, I was actually pleasantly surprised in regards to the pricing. Looks like British Airways might be the best option.
Huh
I feel so sad cuz I was rejected, listening to you people discuss about your arrangements![]()
Come on! Don't feel bad. At all.
Also, note that some winners won't be able to go to the WWDC for various reasons (school exams and lack of money to pay all the expenses) and you may still get a ticket. There seem to be quite a few.

Is that something they've done in the past? Like fill empty spots with people that were previously rejected?
I think I'm getting national express or train to Heathrow and then I'm going to San Francisco. See you there! Most likely Edinburgh to Heathrow and then Heathrow to San Fransisco International. How about yourself?
Just booked a flight and got a place with AirBNB. Super pumped to go!
Why didn't you wait for Apple to send us some more details before booking? Tomorrow we'll receive an e-mail.
Not too sure, but still confident enoughAre you sure we will receive something tomorrow? Why do you think so?
In this case I would think "soon" would be something like weeks. Sometime closer to the conference date.
Hey, I just found this email online from last year's WWDC. I think that this is the email that apple will send out with more info. In the email, it says that the conference is only a week away, so expect an email with the info about a week from the conference.
