Not too sure, but still confident enough :)

However, looking at the thread of the previous year I can't get my hopes up:

Though, this is the first time Apple may be offering coverage for all the expenses, so things might change.

Last year, we got the email a week before the conference (May 28) and a month after acceptance (April 28). This year, the time to the conference is shorter and there are new accommodations, so the next contact will be very soon.

Thanks! What about the call Apple is going to make? In how many days will they be calling? What details are going to be shared? Will they tell about something it hasn't been shared yet?

Thanks!

The call gives very specific information that you won't already know. Pertains to the orientation day, student lounge, morning plan (Keynote line), etc.

What time did you have to stand in line for good seats for the keynote last year?

Congrats to all of those who won! And those who didn't, don't stress, there's always next year! I won the scholarship to WWDC 2014 and 2015, so if anybody needs any help or has any questions, DM me @shaandsingh.

Funny story - I actually came across your Twitter or something by chance last year just after WWDC when I started learning to write iOS apps, and I it was the first time I had heard about the scholarship. So that was part of the reason I was so determined to create a really cool app for this year so that I would get the chance to go. Actually, come to think of it, you made a budget app didn't you? Because the first app I made was also a budget tracker!

I think I'm getting national express or train to Heathrow and then I'm going to San Francisco. See you there!

Sounds good! Yeah, I'm sure I'll see you around!

Wow that's awesome! I'm really happy you were inspired to write iOS apps!

I hope we get the email soon, I don't want to spend money on acomidations if they are going to be paid for.

I sent an email to Apple regarding travel&accommodation expenses 2 work days ago and still no response. Is there anyone who got any reply yet?

Same here! I sent Apple an email two days ago but still haven't gotten any answer. Today I think they'll reply back.

It was me who sent the first mail to Apple to clarify some stuff and request documents for my visa, they replied yesterday with the clarifications and the form for the letter for my visa. Pretty fast reply though.

Anything about them covering travel expenses?
