Try a different browser. I used Chrome to submit mine and on the bottom corner it also will tell you what percentage it has already uploaded.

Yeah, Safari just crashed so I'm trying Chrome. It's currently at 27% but going very slowly.

T-1h40m!

GET THOSE APPS IN! Some tips if you can't upload:

1. Restart your computer

2. Install Chrome

3. Try another computer

4. If all else fails freak out because they don't let you do anything else

This is awful. I'm currently waiting to be picked up by someone to go to their house to upload it. What a disaster.

Oh gosh. I have sent my prayer packets to the Comcast/TWC gods to keep the internet alive and fast for you.

Thank you! I think your internet provider prayers worked! Finally just got it uploaded!

I don't even mind if I don't win a ticket now. This is such a relief, haha.

Good luck everyone!

Wheewh! Mine got accepted JUST as the clock went 5.

Good luck to all and hope to see you at WWDC!

So does anyone have any videos or screenshots from their apps that they want to post here? I would love to see what everyone has been working on!

I just made it! I submitted mine at 7:50 and it finally finished at 8:05! I got the success page but I was cutting it really close. Good luck to you all!

Now for the boring part. Set yourself a reminder for May 8th/9th to come back and share on the thread!

I'm pretty sure they accepted submissions even upto 30 minutes after the deadline

Does anyone know a rough idea of how many people apply each year?

I guess anything between 500-1500. I don't really know for sure. It's safe to say mostly anyone applying for the WWDC 2015 has viewed this thread at least once. It's ranked 3rd in my "wwdc 2015 scholarship" Google search.

Now, this thread has 6000+ views. Though, I'm sure not everyone who browsed through this thread has applied due to time constraints and other stuff. We should also consider this thread was started on December, and that not everyone knows how to program Swift.

Best analysis I've heard ## Chances to win a scholarship is much higher than last year. This year has less enthusiasm based on this forum's views and posts, the ability to code swift has also filtered many awesome developers, and the fact that this year has 150 more spots has significantly increased our chances to win it.
Good luck to everyone!

Hey guys,

I started watching some of the videos of peoples' apps and now I'm really nervous. Some of them are so good! Does anyone know whether not having an app on the app store would make it very difficult for you to get in?

Thanks

Yeah I'm there with you. I'm starting feel that I wasted 60 hours. Prepared for disappointment. I've already got a movie rental picked out for the 8th. If I win its a celebration movie, if I loose its a consolation movie.

Yes! There are so many talented developers around on YouTube and here, too. Their apps rock.

I'm really proud of my app and I don't think I could have made it better. I do hope I get the ticket even though I'm not sure I will. I really hope to see you guys at WWDC because it would be just amazing.

Having an app on the App Store is really not necessary.
