With the unveiling of a new operating system Apple has traditionally invited a developer to share the latest and greatest video games can offer consumers. My question for you guys to speculate on is, what video game developer will appear at WWDC?

I think one developer could be Valve with Half-Life Episode 3

In the Keynote? None, they will be iOS developers.

Haha, iOS is overrated. Plus Apple initiated this years invitation as "Back to the Mac" OS. Bringing the magic of iOS to the mac. Which happens to include gaming and its industry the iOS helped recreat...

Apple has never cared to foster games on the Mac, and there is nothing in Lion to suggest that their attitude has changed. OpenGL still moves forward at a glacial pace; Lion will have version 3.2, not 4.

Although, it is kinda funny that you bring up Valve. E3 will be the same date as WWDC (that's where all the big game developers will be), and Valve has announced that it will not attend. What if the reason was, it got invited to WWDC instead, because apple was announcing new developmental tools for Mac game developers? That would be awesome, but it won't happen.
