"Hey everyone, our newest iOS is really nothing new. The only decent features are marginally innovative and iPad only. Our watch OS update is lame. And the desktop OS update is worse. I think we just put the word 'new' on it. Added to which we did sneak peeks on two products 6 months out, one of which is out of 95% of the consumer market price range and need, the other of which we way over priced because we can, but... wait for it...

In case you are really bummed about that, come back, we've brought in a trained monkey to distract you."

WWDC 17. Done. Over. Worthless. And by the way, thanks Apple for what I'm sure will tank the stock for a while.

So they let the software simmer this year with mostly fixes / small refinements and are going to release a monster of a hardware upgrade and you think Apple is doomed?

I totally forgot to watch the keynote. :(

Sounds like I lucked out. :)

The Springboard is seriously antiquated. A visionary overhaul would have been something to see. The task switcher regardless of the iPhone getting split view is a step in the right direction but again why leave it off the iPhone.

I didn't really have much hopes. So I'm not disappointed.

Happy that we're getting APFS and a File manager in iOS. That's pretty much it for me.

You all do not understand what the main WWDC keynote is for.

What you all want will be in the state of the union keynote.

So when Apple makes major changes people complain that they need to fix what they already have, then when Apple just refines with no major design or feature changes people complain it's boring.

This was an iPad year. iPad needed the attention. What major item exactly does iPhone need?

Its unlikely that the software/ computer engineers working on the OS will be the same design/ materials and manufacturing engineers working on the hardware. So what is the point of one of the two sides of the business "phoning it in" while the other readies for a large jump? They can both earn their keep simultaneously and deliver kickass hardware and software, isn't it?

This post is ridiculous, WWDC easily beat Google I/O, Microsoft Build, not to mention the smaller ones.

This year Apple bought so much to their platforms, it's not even fun anymore!

When are we seeing real AR on Android?

What happened to Daydream?

I don't even know where to start, just thinking that only now Android and Windows got Picture-in-Picture… and not in a consumer-friendly way...
