I am concerned about the speed of displaying email, calendar, etc. on http://www.me.com. I am using FF. Do you think the slow speed is usual or is it because of problems that might still be happening. I am comparing with the speed of Gmail and Google Calendar and me is a lot slower. How does the speed compare with the old .Mac system? This is a real concern of mine as this is how I planned to access my email and calendar from my PC.

It is light-years faster today than it was yesterday. I would presume it will speed up even more once the high initial usage dies down and as they optimize. I cannot speak for .mac.

It's a whole bunch faster now than it's been in a long time. Maybe this new service will actually live up to some of the promise of Mac.com.

I never found .Mac to be that slow. This is very slow.

But today it has been speeding up a bit.
