What you think?

Might be good with the Nike Black/Volt band.

Interesting color contrast. Agree it would work with the Nike black/volt band however what will you do with other colored bands (if you have some)?

It Really matters what you think, but for me, I think it takes away from the appeal of the space back stainless casing, which is what I prefer. But I think that would pair with some of the sport bands as well.

Of all the years I've worn a watch (35) I don't think I've ever knocked it against anything. Yet I've dropped my phone numerous times in the past 10 years.

A agree with the rest. While it's a computer on your wrist, Apple watch is also a piece of jewelry to be shone off accordingly. Otherwise it looks like you are wearing one of those kids watches.

What makes you happy makes you happy but you asked...

I think it horribly "cheeses up" your SBSS. The SBSS is incredibly beautiful and nearly scratch proof yet in this way covered by cheap plastic and rubber it makes it look like a children's toy or cheap walmart runners watch.

Was I too harsh?

No, I really enjoyed that. Got rid of that POS straight away.

No. But you'll regret a case on an Apple Watch pretty quickly. I was meticulous about cleaning my S2SS in side a Spigen Tough Armor case and the Catalyst case I used. After a couple weeks I was wiping down the watch and case for the 5th or so time, and found a million tiny scratches on the stainless steel. Gotta believe trapped dust, dirt, debris was rubbing on the finish with the case. I would not put my S3SBSS in a case, and after a few months with it--still flawless.

I have totally knocked my Apple Watch. I know I have done it many times including while getting clothes out of the dryer. That said, I had a bumper on mine for about a week. I prefer Apple care plus to be the protection for my watch.
