X-Plane Glitch? What Happened?

I was just looking through some settings when this happened out of the blue. The plane shot backwards and into the sky and I got the burst tires message. Shortly before the plane veered heavily to the right on take-off, so is it possible that the game is corrupt, or was this just a glitch?
