My battery is taking a real hammering from 'X' like never before. (54% Background Activity)
Never used to see it anywhere near the top of the battery killer list until recently. Have they changed something?

Plus, my 'Background App Refresh' is set to OFF.
And the difference between Background Activity and Background App Refresh is.....

Thanks for any help

Mine is sitting at 11%, and I never turned Background App Refresh off for anything.

"Background App Refresh" and "Background Activity" are two different things. This thread explains the difference between the two.

Thanks, so basically, there's nothing I can do about it using half my battery every day??

Are you force closing the app when you're not using it? If not, maybe that'll help. (It's what I do.)
When I remember... I'll check that out in next few days, thanks
Does X (Twitter) work as a PWA (WebApp)? Or they force you to either the App or the Website?
Not sure, Just easier to view on the App Store App. I assume?
