I've found a site called www.xvsxp.com and compared the two. Granted, Windows XP is faster in things like file copying and trashing large files but overall, it looks like Apple wins in most of the fields. Oh wellz, let see if Longhorn will ever catch up!

Remember that by the time Longhorn's out, OS X will probably be 2 releases ahead of what we've got now. So I don't see Windows catching up any time soon. As I read somewhere (someone's sig?), "to see tomorrow's PC, look at today's Mac", or it might've even been "look at yesterday's Mac", which is even better :)

I'm still worried about what the next OS will be called. Would it be OS11, or OSXI? Both of which, if you just glance, look like X11. Personally, dropping the numbering system would work better. And naming the OS after cats seems to work, though eventually you'd run out of cats. Oh well.
