X3:reunion (not terran conflict) on 2009 5,2 macbook

looks like it should run ok, but i need help from people with more experience

my macbook: Processor Speed: 2 GHz
RAM 4GB
NVIDIA 9400M (256 MB VRAM)
plenty of hard drive space

X3:reunion:

Mac OS 10.6.8 or higher
Intel CPU, 2 GHz or faster
512 MB RAM
GeForce 8600, Radeon X1600 or newer 128 MB
4 GB Hard Disk space

I was asking if people knew if my computer could run the game ok or not.

Unlikely. A desktop 8600 is much faster than the 9400M.

Hey,
I have a MBA...when I looked at the specs for X3 Reunion, I had the same question...I finally decided to play it safe, and bought it on Steam for my WinXP Bootcamp partition, as those specs were lower (and it was on-sale CHEAP, too).

Mind you, it is a circa 2005(?) game...I don't know why the specs are creeping up. I did hear there is supposed to be a new release.

Anyway, probably not the answer you were looking for. But, I thought, with what they were saying you needed, if I bought it on the App Store, and it didn't play well, I would have only myself to blame.
