Hey all,

I was thinking of getting x3: Reunion for Mac. However, my question is, does it run on Snow Leopard? I could also get Terran Conflict, but I'm unsure if it will run smoothly on my MBP, which is a 15" 2009 C2D 2.53Ghz w/ 4GB RAM, 320GB HDD @ 7200rpm and the nVidia GeForce 9400m.

Cheers,
H

I don't about the performance on your mbp, but X3 Reunion works fine on my 2007 iMac 24'' and Snow Leopard. Important is that you install the patch that was published just after publication, otherwise some object will be displayed correctly.

@mongrol: R u running in on leopard or snow leopard?
@henhog: why don't u use the discrete nvidia 9600M on ur MBP to play it?

I ran X3:R on my OCed quad core PC with a huge 8800GTS and i couldn't get it to run highest graphic settings correctly all the time. But I'm not sure if its the copy i have (had to DL a hacked version bc the disks that i bought became corrupt) or if my PC just don't have enough power to run it correctly at the highest settings.

I'm trying to decided now whether to buy the new version (X3:TC) on PC or MAC. I'm about to upgrade my black macbook to the new 13" MBP but i'm not sure if the nvidia integrated 320M has enough muscle to play it. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance,
Mat
